Urban Growth need your help this Saturday 16th!

Urban Growth, who are based on the Community Initiatives Floor at 3Space International House, are very excited to be announced as one of a handful of local city greening projects to have been awarded significant funding from the Mayors Greener City Fund. The Slade Garden rejuvenation project will further develop the popular adventure playground site at Slade (SW9 0DL), with an edible playground and wildlife ponds for hosting educational outdoor activity workshops for local children and the community.

They are looking for volunteers who are able and willing to help with the build and planting at the site. This Saturday 16th Feb they are welcoming volunteers at the site from 12pm-3pm. Sign up here or turn up on the day to help them convert this space into an incredible community space!  If you are an organisation looking for team building opportunities where your staff can get their hands dirty and have a real impact, then get in touch: info@urbangrowth.london

By working with the community to grow food and flowers Urban Growth & The Slade Gardens Community Play Association not only aim to improve wellbeing and increase biodiversity at the site, but also aim to up-skill, supporting residents into training and paid employment.
